Gucci Spring 2011 Handbags

So this year at fashion week was definitely a success for all designers. And one designer I haven’t mentioned is Gucci. I’d prefer Chanel over Gucci any day but today I decided to blog about Gucci for once. The clothing this year was very bold and bright. The bags put a perfect mix with it they added exoticness with the sexy touch to it. Including metallics and woven leather. Usually I don’t really pay attention to what Gucci’s doing but this time I decided to take the plunge. And I’m sure glad I took that plunge because I found something that I really like.

Atalanta Weller~Bold, Futuristic, Retro shoes that'll keep you wanting more...

Ever heard of the name Atalanta Weller? Does it ring a bell? Well, whether it does or not Atalanta Weller is one who's shoes will do the talking. Simultaneously bold and refined, futuristic and classic, both natural and synthetic. Her unique vision of what she wanted her collection to be. And with no doubt it came to be! She was inspired by the anime series Appleseed and the modernist architect Pierre Luigi Nervi. Her shoes can really make a statement. Very artsy but in a good way.

She has four basic shoe concepts.

shoes five
shoes four
Atalanta Weller really has something ahead for her. Her shoes just have this certain look to them where I just am insanely in love with them! They have the best edge to them. What I’m saying is kind of confusing…basically I would love to own one of these pairs of shoes. Who wouldn’t? I’ve never heard or seen shoes that are basically balls! They’re so cool and I know each one of us would kill to own shoes like that!! Her shoes are very artsy like I said before and it would be amazing if I could find them at Urban Outfitters for $15!! Impossible! But that would be amazing :) Someday, I promise myself I will own a pair of Atalanta Wellers. I’m shocked she’s not that famous…. her shoes are the shoes of the century. I know I’ve said that with the Alexander Mcqueen shoes which are amazing too but these shoes top that list! Atalanta Weller is for sure now my favorite shoe designer. I’ve got to get myself a pair!! :)

Fashion on The Devil Wears Prada

The other day I was watching one of my favorite movies of all time! The Devil Wears Prada. I absoultely love watching this movie! It never gets old for me. Well, Anne Hathaway is my main focus today. In the beginning of the movie her taste was very poor. But then she became an intern and her sense of style went up to a 10!

This outfit was one of my favorites. It was all inspired by Chanel. I think she looked really classic in this outfit. Not classy, but classic. Get it?

This coat was really cute. It's what I would imagine her wearing the streets of New York. The coat is by Calvin Klein. It's really pretty.

Her outfit features a brown leather jacket by Vince; DKNY turtleneck; jeans from Japanese Fabric; and Calvin Klein boots.

This outfit was sort-of Audrey Hepburnish. I really like the coat which is by Lewin Kelly. I've never heard of the designer..

I'm not a huge fan of the paperboy cap or the top but I really love the Chanel necklace. I'd kill to have it.

Another coat Im a huge fan of! The coat was by Yigal Azrouel. I also really adore the heels by Marni. I love the color and how the strap is.
I dont like the dress that much which is by Calvin Klein but I really love the sunglasses which are by Chanel.

I really enjoyed the outfits of The Devil Wears Prada. The designers they wore in this movie! I really like Anne Hathaways' style in this movie.

Fall 2010 Fave Trends

It's fall!! Finally we can bring out our sophisticated warm colors and dim down the neon. So, what are the new trends for fall?

The Full Skirt
The 60's look of the full skirt is back! The look is perfect for fall and very lady like.

Innerwear as Outerwear
Lingerie has been spotted lately. The look is quite sexy for the modern-day women. Many celebrities have been seen in this look such as Rihanna, Ashley Greene, and Lily Allen.

Long Pants
Nice long trousers have been the latest trend lately. Many designers have brought the trend back. And not just in plain but in other fun shades as well.

Fur Vests
Fur Vests are something edgy but at the same time classy. They're great to top with some leggings and your favorite boots.

So, these are my favorite trends for fall! What are yours?

Me lately plus some shoes that will turn heads :)

Hey loves! Lately a lot of things have been going on. High school has been going on for 4 weeks, now? And so far I've made some really, really great friends!! I thought it would be really tough especially since I had made some GREAT friends at my old school but I'm coping with this new one! I mean, it's life! Friends come and go and you need to deal with it. I'm ok with everything because first of all I have God. Yes, I am a religious person. But NO! I'm not a psycho religious person! I accept everyone :) And second, I have my family. So I know that even things are tough I have family and God to help me get through things! Well, I hope everyone is going well :) You guys have great blogs by the way! I love them! And one more thing! Thank you everyone for following me! I now have 90 followers! I never would have dreamed that possible but I guess I was wrong! So thank you everyone!!

So lately I have been looking on the internet and have found some really interesting shoes! I mean, they're interesting!! Let me show you what I mean.

Florence and the Machine: A new favorite band

Florence and the Machine...is a band formed by an English singer Florence Welch and other artists who provide background music for her voice. The music has been described as many genres including rock, soul, indie rock, and baroque pop. The band formed in 2007 and has since then made great success. The song "Dog Days are Over" is featured as the background music for the "Eat, Pray, Love" trailer. Her song "Heavy in your arms" for the soundtrack to The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The band also performed at the MTV VMA's(video music awards) this year singing their hit song Lungs.  They were also nominated as Video of the Year, Best Rock Video, and Best Cinemotography in a video for their song "Dog Days are Over."They won an award for Best Art Direction in a Video for the song. They have toured with many other bands/artists. They've even toured with one of my favorite bands MGMT. Florence and the Machine have some really great songs. The music is fun and what I can see many people listening to.
