Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have made so much success this year. Yes, some people aren’t the biggest fans of them and I can’t say I am either but they have been influential in the fashion industry. With their fashion line Olsenboye and their covers on fashion magazines they are becoming more and more popular. Well, let me give you some more background on these twins.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were born on June 13, 1986. In 1987 they started acting in Full House, at only 9 months old! Both sisters played the same role as Michelle Tanner. In addition to Full House they also played in the movie To Grandmother’s House We Go. Shortly after the end of Full House they began to shape up their image. They established a company called Dualstar in 1993 in over 5,300 stores worldwide. Because of this they were ranked as the eleventh-richest women in entertainment by Forbes in 2007. The girls became popular figures in the preteen market. The girls have been in more shows and movies since then such as The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley and New York Minute. As for fashion the girls have been featured on many fashion magazines and editorials. The twins have had a lot of success from the fashion industry to the acting business.

To start off my post I wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope you all have a nice holiday with your family and loved ones!
Well, the season has definitely checked in! And so has fashion. From New York to Paris let’s see what the world has in store for fashion.
New York:
Animal Print Jumpsuits are always a nice twist for fall fashion.Trench coats are always a must for the chilly New York weather.
Paris:
Big coats and cute boots keeps you warm in the winter of Paris.


Tokyo:
Dressing up in colorful leggings and coats keeps these girls cozy and warm for the season.



Street style is different all over the world but it’s really fun to look at. Just to see how different parts of the world dress up…

Fashion icon of the week~Lykke Li☮

A fun and an inspirational soul. Lykke Li is one of my favorite artists. Today, listening to her music my friend told me about her new song Get Some. I just listened to it and the video is so different! Some thing you’ll definitely want to check out. Shaurie’s the one that introduced me to her way back and ever since I’ve been a big fan of her Swedish indie music. You should listen to her music when you get the chance….

Inspiration Saturday~Share some love

Who says you can't be beautiful with four-eyes?

Most people think people with four-eyes are the basic nerds.
Well, I used to think the same exact thing. Until the 6th grade, I used to always be like "ew, they have glasses." And now that I look back I find that I was an idiot. In the 6th grade I met my best friend, Shaurie. She's a gorgeous person but the thing was she wore glasses. I didn't like that. But I ignored it and loved her for her personality rather then her looks. And now, I have NO idea why I didn't like how she wore her glasses. I had glasses to! But I didn't wear them all the time, only when necessary. And I wear glasses now too :) Yes, I have contacts but when Im not wearing them I'm wearing my glasses. It's weird how your views on something can be so stupid and then years later you're like "wow. How can I have thought that?" And glasses are actually very artistic in the fashion industry. Photographers like to have glasses in their pictures and I don't blame them! It brings a different view into the pictures.

Anglina Jolie looks striking on the cover for Vogue's December 2010 issue.

I was instanly impressed by what I saw. Yes, this is Jolie's 4th cover appearance for Vogue but this one is the best yet. I just love how she looks straight into the camera in a way that makes her seem unstoppable.

In the magazine you get to learn some interesting things about Jolie. Such as, she only wears black. She says it's practical and sometimes she wears a nightgown to a meeting.

“I like to get up so every pair of pants goes with every top, every dress goes with every shoe. I’ve a very tiny closet. Brad’s always laughing at me. Some days, yes, I have the nightgown that looks like a dress that I can sleep in and pick the kids up at school. And maybe take a meeting if I switch into heels.”

She's not a very good cook either.

And she's supportive of her children's eclectic tastes.

Besides getting to know Jolie, I think she looks gorgeous in her photos. She looks very young for her age and she looks like a classy, young, and fun starlet.
